Time's Person of the Year

The group known as the "Silence Breakers" were named Time's Person of the Year in light of the #MeToo scandal. The runner ups for this award were Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Other nominees included Colin Kapernick and Beyonce. Some of the ladies on the cover of the magazine include Alyssa Milano, who is credited with starting the twitter trend, and Taylor Swift, who sued a DJ a symoblic 1$ in court for groping her. It looks like this twitter trend is turning into a social movement, especially in light of Hollywood scandals like the news breaking of Harvey Weinstein's inapporpaite beahvior.
